Limits apply per key, 600 requests a minute, and per account across all its keys, 3,000 a minute. Every response carries:

| Header | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `X-RateLimit-Limit` | Requests allowed in the current window |
| `X-RateLimit-Remaining` | Requests left in the window |
| `Retry-After` | On a `429`, seconds to wait before trying again |

When you get `429 RATE_LIMITED`, wait for `Retry-After` and repeat the request with the same `Idempotency-Key`. If your volume needs a higher limit, [talk to us](/contact).
